You are basically over exagerating the loss of happiness by having robots. This would change the target happiness from 80 to 75 target happiness. So using the 1 for every 5 settlers I add six robots to bring populaiton to 36 total.

So lets say I got 30 settlers at 80 happiness. Make it 1 robot out of five settlers your target would still be 74 target happiness. 1.5 points off target happiness is not even going to mattter because the game would sit there and bounce between 78 and 79 current happiness versus a flat 80 current and target happiness.Įven if you were to double that to 1 robot in every ten settlers you are talking about have a target happiness of 77 versus a target of 80 happiness. They start with Protectron parts without any armor, but individual parts from other robots can be scavenged, then built and attached, and upgraded further with quality armor attachments to meet (or exceed) factory quality. My point was 1 robot for every 20 settlers you are going to barely even notice the difference. They can be created, upgraded and renamed at a robot workbench, provided the resource requirements are met. Chapter two of Sim Settlements 2 is currently in development, with the expansion expected to be released later on this year.Originally posted by crgzero:And you still lose happiness, more bots means more lost happiness.
